Strong west winds with gusts to 90 to 100 km/h are expected today.

Winds will gradually ease this afternoon.

Local utility outages are possible. High-sided vehicles will be pushed around by the wind. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible.

Secure loose objects. Stay away from fallen power lines.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
